Just a little information about me, Phil Francis, MD of Magic Mobility Ltd and some history of the company. I don't want to bore you with my life story here, other than to say I was born in Bristol UK and live here with my lovely wife Jo. Jo helps with the paperwork and service schedules.
I am a very busy company director and engineer with a very large client base. Our customers rely heavily on our services, and as such, communication, organisation, and punctuality are paramount in keeping everyone happy. I am City & Guilds qualified in both electronic servicing and electrical installation and am committed to provide top class customer service.
After some time studying I went into my first job as a service engineer repairing ride-on cleaning machines. After 8 years I decided to move on and found myself within a variety of jobs over many years including, wiring houses, repairing and servicing pottery kilns, washing machines, audio-visual equipment, PC,s, computer peripherals, casino equipment, then finally, I discovered the mobility market in which I remained as an employee for 12 years as a stairlift engineer. I also repaired scooters, riser recliners and bathlifts etc until redundancies inspired me to set up my own mobility business. I enjoyed the work - each day was different with new people to meet and problems to solve so I set about creating Westcountry lifts, which after 2 years, in April 2008 became Magic Mobility Ltd.
We currently work with private homeowners, housing associations, lift sales companies, public buildings including department stores, churches and courts. We do not advertise other than this website and have built a very happy clientele with a lot of work coming from word of mouth. You can find out a little more about what we do here. For fun, whenever I have the time, and the money, Jo and I enjoy short breaks and the occasional spa holiday just to recharge the batteries.
