We are often asked, what is the best curved stairlift? This is never an easy question to answer, but based on our engineering skills and not salesmen's hype, we believe the Flow 2 to be one of the most reliable and adaptable lifts on the market, especially if you have a very narrow staircase to contend with. We can and do supply other new lifts including the excellent Platinum Rails Curved which is cheaper and ideal if space is not such an issue.

The Flow 2 is a battery-powered stairlift that can be used on straight, spiral and other very complex stairways. One advantage of this stairlift is its battery-powered operation - this lift can be used even during a power failure. As a product of ThyssenKrupp Access, this equipment has assured durability, safety and comfort and promises a great deal of convenience to its users. The Flow2 Stair lift has a lifting capacity of 275 lbs (19.6 Stones /125 kg).

It features a rack and pinion drive system and has a maximum speed of 29fpm. Wireless remote control call and park stations, foldable seat and footrest, and easy to use armrest controls are standard features. The automatic swivel seat of this lift can turn round to an angle of 70° whilst working. This makes the Flow 2 appropriate for narrow and steep stairways. For the safety of lift users, a safety belt and obstruction sensors are provided. The sensors are used to detect obstacles in the path of the lift and bring the lift to a halt. The lift will move again only after the objects in the way are removed. The foldable footrest and seat allow others to conveniently use the stairways when the lift is not in use.

Different colour options are available for seating and rail. For seating 6 upholstery colours in vinyl and 4 fabric colours are available. There are 3 standard colour choices for the rail - White, Brown, and Grey, but other custom colours can be accommodated. To offer a solution for everyone, the armrest control is delivered with three types of joysticks - a small joystick, larger joystick, and toggle control. (Ergonomic controls for individual needs are available at extra cost)
